This school has a long history in Gatineau operating since 1998, shortly after the passing of Taijiquan expert Gilles Vaillant. The school began sponsoring workshops with Sam Masich in 2001 and has continued to focus on MIAM curriculum including the 5 Section Taijiquan Program and The Yang-style Taijiquan Full Curriculum Program. Mary Hansell has continued the over 30 year history of Circle of Friends Tai Chi with a strong focus on MIAM curriculum. She has completed The Yang-style Taijiquan Full Curriculum Program and Instructor's Training in The 5 Section Taijiquan Program . She also a fourth-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate.
Wendy Williams completed the 5 Section Taijiquan Full Curriculum and Instructor Training in 2015 and attended the 2016 to 2019 weapons training weekends held in Gatineau, Québec. The Tài jí Life online and in-person programs are rooted in the MIAM curriculum with a strong emphasis on taijiquan for personal growth. Wendy and her partner, Denis Bossé, continue to attend and teach classes at the Centre Tai Chi Gilles-Vaillant in Gatineau, Québec.
At London Taiji Quan, Chuck Stratton has built a MIAM-curriculum program that includes much material from The 5 Section Taijiquan Program and The Yang-style Taijiquan Full Curriculum Program. Chuck is a graduate the 5 Section Taijiquan Instructor's Certification program.
Katarina Halm has been associated with Sam Masich's work since the early 1980s. Her program at the Thinking in Movement Studio focuses on Somatic Education & Focusing and includes the 5 Section Taijiquan Solo Form (Yang) and 108 Movement Taijiquan Long-form. She supports her work in taijiquan with Feldenkrais Method and other body-mind practices.

Dorian Gregory started studying martial arts in 1989 (karate, arnis). She began her training with Sam Masich in 2006. She offers classes, private and semi-private lessons, seminars and workshops in the traditional curriculum Yang-style Taijiquan with an emphasis on core principles and taiji philosophy.

Patrick Foley and Jane Launchbury are both senior instructors of the TCUGB with over 60 years of internal arts experience between them. They hold teaching certificates in Sam Masich’s (MIAM) 5 Section Taijiquan programme, Lin Hou Sheng’s Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi, and Bruce Frantzis’ Energy Arts system. Based in Wiltshire, U.K., their school Longwater Tai Chi has a broad mixed curriculum, mainly being taught for health and wellness. Patrick has focused his study since 2010 on the MIAM system and was made an indoor student (tudi) of Sifu Masich in 2019.

Ken Symon has been studying with Sam Masich since 2018, having previously practised another Taiji style. After teaching for nine years in Scotland, he has moved to the East of England where he is focusing on the MIAM Five Section curriculum. He aims to introduce many more people to the health and self-cultivation benefits of taijiquan.

Christian Auerbach started learning taijiquan and qigong in 1984. He is recognized as "Qigong-Lehrer" in "Deutsche Qigong Gesellschaft (DQGG)" and "Ausbilder für Taijiquan & Qigong" in the "Deutscher Dachverband Qigong & Taijiquan (DDQT)".
Having studied taijiquan with Yürgen Oster, Fei Yuliang, Ye Ankang and Patrick Kelly he has focused on the teaching of Sam Masich and his MIAM system since 2008. Christian teaches simplified and traditional barehand forms and partnerwork including taiji sabre and taiji sword. He supports his taijiquan with fascial bodywork and different kinds of body-mind practice.

Trude Smoor has been Trude is captivated with the transformative nature of taijiquan for over four decades. She teaches taiji, qigong and meditation in courses, workshops and in private instruction. Classes are for all: young people in schools, adults, and senior citizens. She began her taijiquan journey in 1978 at Stanford University in California with Kuo Lien Ying, then continued with Dominic Cheung at University of California. She has studied for more than twenty years with Sam Masich in Canada, USA, México, China, Germany, Holland, and England.
